John Drake

I’m making a live record. It’s gonna be recorded in my little studio in my house.
It’ll be me and my guitar, my rig and my voice, one performance, one take for each song. There’ll be no auto tune and there’ll be no AI.
It’s gonna be minimal and it’s going to capture the time and space, the song, the vibe and my performance in that moment.
If the dog barks during a hot take, I guess you’re gonna hear the dog bark.
If a semi trailer goes by my house at the right moment, then you’ll probably catch the semi too.
The record will be called ‘Live at the Red Hill Cottage’
Take it easy.
